Every January there’s a surge in job searching. Whether its down to New Year’s goals, or simply the promise of a fresh start, many of us are actively scrolling through socials and job boards in search of that next career step.

Glassdoor recently released their list of the best companies to work for in the UK, and this list was (perhaps unsurprisingly) dominated by tech companies like Facebook, Microsoft, and Google.

But what if you’re not looking for a role at a top company that isn’t in the tech sector?
