An historic smuggling haven turned popular seaside resort town, Bournemouth is famous for its beautiful coastline, and access to the nearby New Forest. There are numerous nature sites to visit, especially along the Jurassic Coast, including the impressive stone arch called Durdle Door. Thanks to the fact it’s been a popular summer retreat since the Victorian times, the town also has a number of historic streets and buildings. Tourism is still a large part of the economy today.
