A great opportunity to take that next step deputising for the Chief Finance Officer. Working across the NCA group you will support the delivery of:
• Financial governance and assurance
• Business and commercial advice across a range of capital and revenue service changes
• Corporate responsibilities as a senior member of the TrustAlongside this you will have a key supporting role in the development of strategies across finance, commercial development, business intelligence, financial planning & information. You will take responsibility for establishing and maintaining an effective finance team structure and recruiting, retaining and developing talented individuals to operate within it. Committed to continuous improvement you will continue the ongoing development of the finance team to ensure it becomes the benchmark within the NHS of a professional, innovative, motivated, effective finance team.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong record of achievement as a Finance Director or Deputy within a hospital/care setting. You will have a proven track record of sound financial management along with effective financial leadership including the development and implementation of effective financial plans and control. An understanding of the potential of Information Technology in health care and an ability to define benefits realisation of new technology is also key.
You will be an engaging and inspiring leader with the ability to motivate and influence others. A creative thinker you will have the skills to innovate, create effective partnerships and work effectively under pressure.
