Account Manager - Wiring/Electrical Bias

Role: Account Manager
- Wiring/Electrical Bias Contract: Permanent Location: Uttoxeter Salary: Competitive DOE We are on the lookout for an experienced Account Manager to work on behalf of our global engineering client at their client's site in Uttoxeter.

This is a varied role which will act as the commercial interface between the customer and the company.

You will be liaising with all key departments, across the business to ensure an efficient and cost-effective service is delivered to the Customer's specifications within the Company's SLA.

We are looking for someone who has experience of coordinating and planning all account management duties between overseas and UK based stakeholders.

This is a fast-paced and pressurised environment adhering to strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities:
*Acting as the representative and liaison between our Customer and our Company to convey information, ensure understanding, and make certain everything gets done in an accurate, timely manner.
*Manages all issues between our Company and the Customer at an operative level.
*Assumes commercial ownership for new projects.
*Prepares and negotiates quotations for RFQ's, costing and pricing in line with agreed margins.
*Organises and manages the annual Customer price reviews.
*Responsibility to oversee that required profit levels are achieved and orders are fulfilled according to the terms (delivery time, quantity, quality, price/cost)
*Handles Customer complaints along with the respective departments.
*Understands and anticipates our Customer needs and expectations.
*Organizes, manages and controls the cost reduction (CR) process and activities.
*Participation in management meetings within the Customer and the Company.
*Making our Customer aware of other services and products that may lead to greater business
*Monitoring budgets, costs, and negotiating new terms if necessary.
*Providing progress reports to our Customer and internal management.
*Serve as the first point of contact for all customer account management matters.
*Build and maintain strong, long-lasting Customer relationships.
*Negotiate contracts.
*Forecast and track all key account metrics (KPI)
*Prepare reports on account status.
*Ability to take the role of team leader.

Person Specification:
*Proven record of successful account management.
*Electrical qualification or background.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills.
*Strong administration and planning skills.
*Customer focused.
*Good negotiation skills.
*Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
*Ability to interact with staff at all levels.
*This is a senior position requiring excellent management skills.
*Full driving license and prepared to travel.
*Ideally degree qualified in a business field.
*Experienced in all commercial matters.
*Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
*Numerate and articulate.
*Strong KPI reporting skills.
*Capability to create trust between our Company and the Customer.
