Role Requirements At least 10 years’ experience in IT Solid ability to install, configure, fault find and manage Remote Desktop Solutions Microsoft Certification of at least MSCA Managed Service Provider experience is highly desirable Background supporting junior members of staff Good understanding of technologies such as DHCP, DNS, GPO, ADDS, Exchange, networking (routing and switching), virtualisation (Hyper-V and VMware), storage, backup and cloud technologies (Azure, Office365) Firewall configurations (WatchGuard highly desirable) Dealing with 3rd party vendors (eg SAGE, Quickbooks) Previous field experience is essential Project management; server/email migration experience would be an advantageTop of FormBottom of Form Role Responsibilities Provide professional IT support and troubleshooting to clients via telephone, remote support and onsite visits Diagnose and fix critical IT issues within company SLA’s Managing internal cluster and SAN environment Project work Manage escalated tickets from the service desk Liaise directly and competently with clients regarding technical issues ensuring clients are satisfied with the resolution Technically assist and mentor the 1st and 2nd Line technical teams Continue learning and develop skills through training opportunities Inclusion in the Out of Hours rota Company TwentyFour IT Services Ltd are looking for a 3rd Line Support engineer to join their team.
We are looking for an excellent communicator at all levels with a charismatic personality. You will need to have excellent planning and prioritising skills and able to multi-task across several different support issues and technologies with ease. You will need to be comfortable with working autonomously as well as part of a team both onsite and remotely. Ideally you will be happy to role your sleeves up and assist with network rollout projects both hands on with hardware and virtual technologies. Primarily dealing with customer support issues you will also be expected to assist in managing our own internal and cloud infrastructures.
